Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 13, 2025
This policy explains what information LevUp Works collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. LevUp Works is a small, owner-operated studio. The goal is to collect as little personal data as possible while still being able to run the business, communicate with you, and operate experiments like Missed-Call → Text → Booking.
Who this applies to
LevUp Works works with two main groups:
- Clients: businesses that engage LevUp Works for experiments, consulting, or services.
- End callers: people who call a client’s phone number and may receive a follow-up text and booking link as part of a missed-call experiment.
In many cases, the client is responsible for their relationship with end callers, and LevUp Works processes caller information on the client’s behalf.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and some technical details that come with using any website or SMS-based service.
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and anything you include when you email, text, or book a call.
- Business information: details you share about your company, tools, workflows, and metrics when we work together or discuss a project.
- Booking information: dates and times of meetings you schedule, plus any notes you add when booking, confirming, or rescheduling.
- Caller information: for missed-call experiments, this may include the caller’s phone number, call time, call status (answered/missed), and basic engagement data (for example, whether a booking link was clicked or an appointment was made).
- Technical data: basic log and analytics information such as IP address, approximate location, browser, device type, and pages visited on the site or booking pages.
How we use your information
Your information is used to:
- Respond to inquiries and run meetings you book.
- Understand your context and design relevant experiments or services.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website, booking flows, and SMS-based experiments.
- Send transactional messages such as confirmations, reminders, missed-call follow-ups, or other messages related to a specific interaction.
- Measure the performance of experiments (for example, how many missed calls result in booked appointments).
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations where required.
Data from experiments may also be used in aggregated or de-identified form to design and improve future experiments and services, so that successful bets can be reused without exposing individual callers or clients.
Texts and SMS
Some experiments and booking flows use SMS. By checking the consent box on a form, by working with LevUp Works as a client, or by texting us first, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your calls, appointments, or experiments.
- Purpose: let you or your callers know about missed calls, send booking links, and confirm or remind you about appointments.
- Frequency: typically one missed-call follow-up plus one or two reminders around an appointment, depending on configuration.
- No cold outreach: the SMS program is not used for cold outreach or bulk promotional campaigns. Messages are tied to specific activity such as a call, booking, or appointment.
- Opt-out: you or your callers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further texts for that flow.
- Help: you can reply HELP or email [email protected] for help.
- Rates: standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
Cookies and analytics
The site and booking pages may use lightweight analytics or your browser’s normal cookies/local storage to understand basic traffic patterns and keep the site secure. This is used in aggregate where possible and is not sold or shared for advertising.
Sharing information
LevUp Works does not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared with:
- Service providers: tools used to operate the site and experiments (for example, email and booking tools, telephony/SMS platforms such as Twilio, scheduling tools such as Calendly, automation tools such as Zapier, and payment providers such as Stripe).
- Clients or partners: where needed to deliver a project you’re involved in, usually in aggregated or redacted form. For example, a client may see summary stats about how many missed calls resulted in bookings.
- Law enforcement or regulators: if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
When LevUp Works processes information about your customers or callers on your behalf, we do so as a service provider / processor under your instructions, consistent with our agreement with you.
Legal basis (for EU/UK visitors)
If you are in the EU or UK, personal data is processed based on:
- Contract: to provide services or run an experiment you or your company have asked for.
- Legitimate interests: such as operating the site, communicating with you, improving experiments, and securing systems.
- Consent: where required by law (for example, certain types of analytics, SMS participation, or marketing-style communications).
Security and retention
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but data is handled with care and kept only as long as needed for services, internal record-keeping, and legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain types of processing.
To make a request, email [email protected]. Some requests may be limited by legal or contractual obligations, especially where LevUp Works is processing data on behalf of a client.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the site or services after changes are posted, that means you accept the updated policy.
